BridgePro – Wonderland Preview

This coming Friday, Bridge Pro Wrestling returns to the Amblecote British Legion in Stourbridge, as ‘BPW: Wonderland’ quickly follows on the heels of the August show ‘We Got Heat’ that saw one or two things bleeding into this show.

One of those unfinished pieces of business involves ‘The Bad Girl’ Chantal Jordan and ’The Spectacular Twat’ Charles Crowley, where Crowley has had his nose in his opponents’ business for a couple of shows now, as well as being a thorn in the side of Jordan since interjecting himself in her match with Alexxis Falcon back at ‘Brand New Level’. The two were involved in a four-way match at ‘We Got Heat’, as the ‘Trickster God’ carried on his assault on ‘the Bad Girl’ and even scored the pinfall victory over his opponent this coming Friday night, so can Chantal flip the script on Mr. Crowley?

The semi-main event features two top women’s wrestlers in the UK, with ‘the Pocket Rocket’ Lila Kyle taking on ‘the Suplex Machine’ in Millie McKenzie, as this has the potential to be an absolute barnburner of a match. Bridge Pro posted a video on their social media where Lila Kyle spoke about being nervous facing her opponent, despite having already faced her in the ring pre-Covid. But a lot has changed since that time. In a video posted on the Bridge Pro site, Lila has been watching Millie’s matches in preparation to face her at Wonderland, as the ‘pocket rocket’ is on a roll having scored a stunning victory over TJ Sky last time out. In terms of Millie Mckenzie, ‘the Suplex Machine’ herself has been making a name for herself while out in Japan with the women’s promotion Sendai Girls, as well as the British scene, and showcasing why she is one of the best in the country.

We’ll also see the First Ever Wonderland match, where the rules see two men start with two minutes bringing a new entrant out, and where no pinfalls and submissions will count until we have all six men in the ring. It is an interesting makeup to this match, as you have two members of Alexxis Falcon’s group in the (A.F.W.F.—Alexxis Falcon’s Wrestling Federation), as Jay Cee and Tyler Davies will look to try and please their leader in ‘The Iron Queen’. Regarding the remaining competitors, you have one of the rising stars of the Midlands circuit in TJ Sky, as he has been one of the standouts in the past couple of Bridge Pro shows while being on the losing end both times. The trio making up the rest of the field are three up-and-comers in ‘The Speed Demon’ Edgar Adams, ‘Skywalker’ Nate Reilly, who both wrestled as part of the Kamikaze Pro Showcase at Brand New Level, and last but by no means least, Stourbridge’s own ‘The Future’ Zac Walker.

Also on the card, ‘The Red Haired Rascal’ in Samuel Hughes and part of the newest faction in Bridge Pro coming under the banner of Alexxis Falcon’s group, he goes one-on-one against the man that caned him back in April at Brand New Level, saving Zac Walker in the process, in Hazz Hype. Following his huge win over Millie McKenzie in the promotion’s debut show, the ‘Hyped-one’ has been out injured but is back in the ring and ready to fight Hughes in a street fight.

In tag team action, the Bridge Pro faithful will witness for the first-ever time in professional wrestling one of the most violent, dangerous, and match ever thought up and will truly be for the Sickos in the crowd, where Ryan Parrott and Harry Cruise of PUN INTENDED go up against ‘The 21st-century Liability’ Natalie Sykes and the debuting ‘Feisty Flame of Ireland’ in AMIRA in a TROLLEY MATCH! Rules of a ‘Trolley Match’ are as follows: beat your opponents up and push them both out of the door to secure the win, as while there are NO DQs, NO Count Out’s, Karens’ are very legal in this environment!

We’ll see the returning Brandon Jordan in action, as having been a year nearly since picking up a win against his sister Chantal Jordan on the first-ever show, he now looks to take another scalp in one-half of the Dead Seas Souls—in ‘The Captain’ Steve Valentino. Will Brandon be forced to walk the plank, or can Jordan spring a surprise against a veteran in ‘The Captain’?

Another tag team match on the card pits two men that the Bridge Pro crowd despises in ‘The Inquisitor’ Alex Connors and his tag partner ‘The 21st Century Hero’ in Luke Douglas, as while both are far from fan favourites; they have picked up two huge wins to date against the Dead Sea Souls at Brand New Level, then followed it up against Nightshade and Safire Reed at We Got Heat. Speaking of that show and their opponents, it saw a MEAT FEST when ‘The Best Athlete in the Game’ Levi Muir faced ‘The Gold Standard’ Liam Jones, as they were part of a triple threat with the man they call KEMPER and saw Muir take the spoils that night. Since then, both have found mutual respect for one another on social media, so much so that the two big boys will join forces to silence the duo of Connors and Douglas.

And if that’s not enough meat for you, then perhaps the match between Shreddy and The Monster Kemper will change your mind! Fresh from his Japanese tour of the Far East, it sees Shreddy making his Bridge Pro debut as he goes up against a man who has left a trail of destruction in his path so far in Kemper. Flips, Hurricanranas, and springboards you will not here see in this match, but what you will see is two big guys beating the living hell out of each other. Kemper has been a one-man path of destruction, as in the five-man scramble at Brand New Level, he beat everyone in the match while displaying his intent again at We Got Heat in a losing effort in that triple threat match.
